We are making lip balm again!!

It’s been a long time, because I have wanted to get rid of plastic from our products as much as possible. Lip balm tubes the world over are made from plastic. However, I discovered paper tubes a while ago for our solid lotion. I saw that the seller had smaller tubes that would work for lip balm, but it is VERY DIFFICULT to pour melted wax and oil into those tubes without spilling and ruining the tube.

For my solid lotions, I have figured this out by using a pancake dispenser, and setting up the tubes with some space between them on the table. It’s still precarious, but I can make it work with minimal damage.

Recently, I was cruising around Etsy, and came across a lip balm tube tray that is specifically made for paper tubes! I ordered it right away, and can see from its construction that it is going to work really well! I’m excited to buy the tubes and try them out.
