WHY DO WE DO THIS?
A long time ago, in a galaxy called this one, I, Amy, started making soap. Long story very short, we needed money because daycare is outrageously expensive, so I began selling it at the Old South Pearl Street Farmer's Market in Denver, Colorado in 2004. All of the products were, and are, handcrafted in our home from natural and organic ingredients, some of which are locally-sourced, and all of which are fantastic for your skin. We keep our packaging minimal to have less effect on the environment, and because of this we are able to continue to offer reasonable prices to you, The People.
Thank goodness for The People--we are still here today because of them. (Thank you, People!)
Since that first market, soapcrone.com has grown to vend at various farmer's markets, outdoor craft shows in the Denver metro area and beyond, and holiday markets as well. In 2014, we launched Straight Up Skin Care - the natural skin care line started right here, at Olde Crone's.
We, Amy and Izzy, now with our daughter Kira, vend at Old South Pearl Street Farmer's Market, Horseshoe Craft and Flea Market, and other shows around Denver. You can keep up with our whereabouts, special deals, et cetera, by subscribing to our email newsletter, here.
Why do we do this? We do this because we love making things for ourselves, and we love sharing them with you. We love the creativity this job allows us, as well as the income to support us as a family. Your purchase supports a very small, family business. Thank you!
